thought of the moment

Thought of it this morning... :) I can't be a block to someone and I can't stay in one place.

some of my favorite english songs - list 1

Its been a while I posted something, so I thought I will make a post on some of my favorite english songs... I like them mostly for the lyrics... at times for music & the voice of an artist.

Here you go, I will give couple of lines from that song and then a link to lyrics page... if you are interested.. look for the video yourself :-D
1) I believe I can fly - R Kelly: lyrics here

\snippet

Hey, cause I believe in me, oh

If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it

I believe I can fly
/end snippet

2) This is one of my all time favorites :)
Have you ever loved a women - Bryan Adams: lyrics here

/snippet

You've got to give her some faith
Hold her tight
A little tenderness
You've gotta treat her right
She will be there foryou
Taking good care of you
(you've really gotta love your woman) (yeah)
And when you find yourself lying helpless in her arms
You know you really love a woman

/end snippet

3)
I just can't stop loving you - MJ: lyrics here

/snippet

You Know How I Feel
This Thing Can't Go Wrong
I'm So Proud To Say
I Love You
Your Love's Got Me High
I Long To Get By
This Time Is Forever
Love Is The Answer

/end snippet

4)
Earth Song - MJ: lyrics here

/snippet

What about sunrise
What about rain
What about all the things
That you said we were to gain...
What about killing fields
Is there a time
What about all the things
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the blood we've shed before
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores?

/end snippet

5)
Woman in love - Barbra Streisand: lyrics here

/snippet

We may be oceans away,
you feel my love
I hear what you say.
No truth is ever a lie.
I stumble and fall,
but I give you it all.

/end snippet

I have more songs, will make a new post later.

discipline... kilo evalo??

I see that we have a lot to do with discipline in life...

Lane discipline while driving...

Queue discipline while you wait for billing.. or to get your turn in bank or anywhere for that matter.

Time discipline - to follow on time and keeping up to the schedule... and respecting other's time.

lot of other discipline too... which are not officially written on paper or said by people.. but everyone follow some discipline... but the above ones are like common ones that we come across almost daily...

I was waiting in queue to get my items billed at Nilgiris grocery store... it wasn't a perfect queue... but everyone was waiting for their turn and its upto the person to follow this discipline.. and respect other's who are waiting there.... I saw a girl rushing ahead and went on billing.. and she did not care for anyone... she went off.. I thought... ok she might be busy... after that nilgiris event.. on my way home I had to wait on a queue again in the SBI ATM to withdraw money.... only 3 were waiting including me... one lady came on rushing... got down from a car... and went ahead of me and she was pushing to go before me.. I politely said.. mam can you please follow the queue? she said... I am busy... and I have my car waiting on the road... I said.. mam everyone is busy on their own work... and there are not too many person waiting... so please follow the queue... or if you have situation which can't let you wait.. then you can request people here and go ahead.. but this is not the way you can go.... she got angry and said... I am not here to fight.. if you want you go ahead... I said thank you... I am not here to fight too... I am just asking you to follow a discipline... I might have looked like an idiot to her to question... yes I am idiot to question someone who is not following the queue discipline when others kept mum... yes I am an idiot to talk to someone who is dumb and don't have respect for other's time.....

I will stay as an idiot rather than being a spineless to question those who don't follow the discipline...

I will stay as an idiot among those who are stupids... losers...

So its like... those who are not following any written rules.. or unwritten disciplines to themselves... questioning us like.. what is discipline and how much is it for a kilo?? :-p

while writing this blog.. I thought if I am just writing my frustrations as a post :-D yes may be.. I am venting out may be... if that helps.. I will keep doing it :)))))

no.. this is not a spiritual topic

I don't believe in idol worship or worshiping the so-called saints who are yet another homosapien in this world.

Recent HOT news was the saint nithyananda caught in a videotape with a actress involved in sex? hmm... and after the video was out... those who believed in nithyananda went on setting fire to his posters/banners and did a rampage to his ashrams.

Who is this nithyananda? Who made him a saint? Why do anyone go to him? Why do anyone destroy public properties and private properties that belonged to his ashrams? and one last question is this the first time we are getting a news on a saint that he is not trueful?

Nithyananda is just a human being who had no special powers.. except a talent on mesmirising people with his talk. But was he was talking anything new that no on knows? No, people like know that they talk the samething that everyone knows.. its like everyone knows what is a bread and butter... but they want someone to apply the butter on the bread and give it to them... which is ready to eat. Learn the art instead of believing in someone is my go.

People go to him and the so called saints like him.. seeking peace.. which probably they lost in their life. My question... is peace a article or something which you can find in this outer space?? why do you search something that you lost within yourself.... outside? search it within you... free your mind... leave of the egos.... search for a solution with you... instead of going to these f***ers and avoid losing more of your mind and patience when you get to know their real face.... people are afraid to take steps and find a solution to their problems from someone else.... if you think harder... he or she says something that you know... and in the course of suggesting solution(readymade solutions.. which you look for) they make money... and become crorepatis.. millionares...

Before burning his posters/banners/properties... people should burn their beliefs in the saints like him... so that they won't fall for another guy in the future.

I hate people changing their names to change their luck... why don't you spend your time working harder to change your luck instead of finding new ways to achieve success in whatever you pursue?

f**k the so called saints... f**k 'em all.

My takes on life..

1. Believe in yourself... seek happiness/peace within you.
2. Don't be blind and get tied with these spiritual stuff... if you don't know what it is.
3. Believe in your work.. and put some effort to get the results... there is no shortcut to success or for that any stage in life.
4. Do something that enlightens you... that interests you.. and find happiness in it.
5. Spread love.
6. Find a learning in everything you come across.

dedicated to friends

Wherever you go... spread love and not hatred... It might be little tough but its possible.

In college... you were one among a group.. which had a tiff with another... which had tiff with another... but you were like, knowing and talking to people in each group without showing any difference... and still a part of your own group... love doesn't teach people to be arrogant... it may be the loyalty that separated people into groups... he wasn't loyal to a group.. but he was loyal to the love.... that's how he made friends.. wherever he went he made people to be good acquaint.... yeah acquaintance is the first step to a life long friendship... whoever took the acquaint serious... took it forward and made them friends for life... whoever felt they just wanted to remain as acquaint... stayed so and moved on with their life....

People who were found to be in different groups... got a chance to share a room when they took a job in a new place... what a magic... they mutually felt... we have a found a friend who matches well with our wavelength... and what a shame we missed them in college days... college has put a boundary to groups.. and being loyal to the group was the only concern... we never took steps to get well or even talk to new people... once we were out of that groups and college boundary... we were ourselves.. and thats when we understood we are meant to be good friends.....

Whenever people who matches your wavelength sees you... they make a friendship for the rest of your life... however late you meet them in life... He made quite a few in college... few in first company.... few in second... few outside the companies.... no money ties them... only their ideology, attitude and the way they look at life...

friends are easy to find... hard to keep... but easy to understand... and hard to lose.. once you find them... goodluck to everyone... go break the boundaries... make friends... keep them safe in your heart.... treasure them...

- my love to all :-)

does questioning needs authority

Hmm.... couple of instances today at the college.

Scene1: Security asking me to wear the ID card around the neck (does it not look like a license on the dogs neck ;)

I was wearing the ID card as usual on my pant pockets which is clearly visible to anyone.. for the security too... his question was "why can't you wear it around the neck?" I said I am not hiding anything and I am feeling more comfortable wearing it this way... and then the words exchange started... "you are for the government.. and government is not for you" for which I promptly replied... people make the government and the government is for the people... I asked him again if his problem was me not having the ID or not having the ID around me neck... then he stopped somehow and said I can't win talking to you ;). I don't feel this as a victory or something... but before questioning they should know the purpose of ID and students are not someone who has to follow whatever these guys demand...

Scene2: Me and Anand questioning some B.Tech girls about putting the garbage on the dustbins and keeping the college clean...

First response I got was... Does college appoint you to question you like this?? why that question in first place.... don't you feel responsible for what you do? does anyone tell you at home not to put the garbage in the middle of the hall??? I asked again "is this not your college?" cooly one girl replied... no this is not my college.. then why the hell do you come and make my college dirty....

people... please realize yourself that public place is just like your home... and please carry on the same responsibilities which you follow at home to keep it clean....

all these sayings are like "shouting at deaf people"... I will keep shouting or make it in writing or make pictures.. and find new ways to make you people realize what you have been doing to your surroundings....

"prevention is better than cure... or rather prevention is the only cure.." not just for AIDS but for polluting our nature too...
