We saw this place on our way to Lake Tahoe, I have done a soft focus to show the face of that mount and rest and kind of blurred one. This place too was a good one we saw it on our way to Lake Tahoe.

its a beautiful place, camped there once, saw bears, wild cats, bunnies etc. fun place to hike n camp. certainly a must visit for scenic lovers. i'll try to update my blog with pix i took there when i went camping.
California is so beautiful. I am happy that you are able to see these places. Before you go back home..please don't miss 'MYSTERY SPOT'...its near Santa Cruz.
It will truly baffle you.! Believe me.!

kar, machi.. this place is not the original yosemite da.. this place is called little yosemite.. this was on the way to lake tahoe, ie. if you go from milpitas towards south lake tahoe.. u will see this place on the way..
narayanan, very true.. here we have lot of places to go around.. i think i have visited most of them now :) as you have said mystery spot is my next place to visit :)
