Alive and Dead!

Alive and Dead!
(C)opyright to NePo - 2005

I liked the shot, thought of doing some processing and did it like part of it as green.. tree which is alive and dead tree is just there as chair and fence! I wanted to try something in B/W and ended up with this!

Very good contrast. Did you touch it?

Narayanan,
How are you? I thought you were back to blogging and checked your blog.. it wasn't updated! When are you coming back!

Missed replying for ur message, I did not touch it, but made one part of the film as colored one and rest as B/W. This weekend I am going to Lake Tahoe, expecting lot of good pics!

That's a very nice picture. The contrast is excellent. Why dont you blog about photography, so that people like me can learn more about it and try with our digital cameras.

NEP, How did you do that? One side B/W and the other side COLOR? My camera doesn't have that option.!

Had I seen your reply..I'd have invited you home...anyways...if you see this message or hear about it in Tahoe..call me at home. or my cell.

Brilliant Nep. Absolutely Brilliant. Almost anybody can lookup the web and figure out how to do selective colouring, but where one loses it all, is in deciding which picture would look better with selective colouring. I think this is your first truly pro level work. Congrats buddy! I liked this one the most in your work so far.
Very nice imagination.

Narayanan,
You have no option in the camera to do that, i did it with picasa, it has only minimal effects and its good enough :) try it. Sorry, actually i saw ur message only after coming back. But sure we are going to meet sometime in the coming weekends if you are free.
